How to make Asian Beef with Mushrooms & Snow Peas
Spend only 40 minutes in your kitchen to serve four portions of this delicious Asian Beef with Mushrooms & Snow Peas.
For the Homemade Asian Sauce:
- 100 ml soy sauce (low sodium)
- 75 gr brown sugar
- Six cloves garlic, minced
- A half teaspoon of ginger
- Two teaspoons of rice vinegar
For the Beef:
- 280 gr snow peas
- 60 ml olive oil
- 280 gr mushrooms, cut into thin slices
- 450 gr beef, cut into thin slices. Here, you may use sirloin steak or flank steak
- 400 gr cooked rice
1To begin making this dish, you need to prepare a bowl to combine the sauce ingredients in it, like the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger and rice vinegar. Then, mix these sauce ingredients until they are completely combined.
2Then, prepare a medium pan and fill with water. Heat it until the water gets boiled and then add with the snow peas in it. Also, make sure you boil the peas for around 5 minutes. Next, don’t forget to drain the snow peas and set them aside for a
3To continue, prepare a large skillet and heat it with two spoons of olive oil. When the oil gets hot enough, add the sliced mushrooms in it and cook them over high heat. Stir and turn the mushrooms occasionally until the color turns nicely brown and cooked through. Here, you may add the salt to the mushrooms to taste.
4When the mushrooms are done, remove them in a bowl. Use the same skillet by adding it to another spoons od olive oil and heat it over high heat. Then, add the sliced meat in it. Make sure you don’t fill the pan with too many slices of meat. Thus, you can make them into two batches.
5Cook the meat slices until all sides turned nicely brown and cooked through. After the slices are done, you may remove them into a bowl and do the same steps for the second batch. Then, you can turn the meat back to the skillet again to combine with other ingredients.
Finally, add with the snow peas, the cooked mushrooms and then the sauce. Heat it over high heat and occasionally stir for about a minute to combine them well. Next, after that, you may turn the heat off and prepare to serve it on your dining table. Serve this on top of a warmed rice bowl and enjoy!
