This cheesecake doesn’t need an oven or any baking techniques, and it also doesn’t need complex ingredients to make this tasty, simple dessert. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz of cream cheese, softened
  • Two tablespoons of melted butter
  • A half teaspoon of peppermint extract or two drops of peppermint oil
  • A cup of powdered sugar
  • A cup of heavy cream
  • 4 oz of baking chocolate
  • Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Candy Canes as purposed for the garnish
  • One and a half cups of crushed cookies (you can use any cookies)

Direction:

1First of all, pour the melted butter into the crushed cookies. Here, you can use Oreo cookies or even Teddy Graham. Mix the melted butter with the crushed cookies until it is well mixed and incorporates. After that, you can put this mixture into the refrigerator and chill it for a while.

2Now, you can start to make the filling. Put the cream cheese and a cup of powdered sugar into the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, then combine it until well blended and creamy. Next, add the vanilla extract and peppermint extract or peppermint oil, then blend it again until it smooth. Set it aside.

3Heat the heavy cream until the edge is bubbling, then pour it over the chocolate baking. Stir it slowly to make the chocolate melt and blend perfectly with the heavy cream. Then, take the crushed cookie mixture out from the refrigerator. Spread the crushed cookie mixture in the bottom of the serving cup and make a thick layer there.
