How To Make a Peppermint Oreo Truffles

- 16 oz or a package of regular Oreo Cookies (36 cookies)
- A teaspoon of peppermint extract
- 8 oz of cream cheese at room temperature
- Two cups of chocolate chips or another melting chocolate
- Three peppermint candy canes, crushed
1Place the oreo into the bowl of food processor, process until it becomes finely ground. If you don’t have the food processor, you can crush the oreo cookies manually by placing it into the Ziploc bag and crush it with the rolling pin. The important thing is just the Oreo cookies should be fine crumbs. Then, place in a bowl.
2Add the cream cheese and a teaspoon of peppermint extract into the oreo crumbs, and mix it until it is smooth and well blended. The oreo batter now should be sticky because of the cream cheese. If the batter already has the great consistency on its sticky texture, then you can start to roll up the oreo batter.
